Amanda W. is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various clinical and management roles within healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Quality / Variation Consultant and Licensed Mental Health Professional in the Emergency Department at Fairview Health Services since July 2017, Amanda provides mental health assessments and crisis intervention through telehealth. Previous roles include Program Manager at Children's Minnesota, where clinical social work and management were provided for the Teen Diabetes Clinics, and a Psychotherapist at Mental Health Systems, primarily utilizing DBT techniques. Amanda's career began after earning a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota, supplemented by roles such as Graduate Research Assistant and Operations Lead at various organizations.
