Matt Smith

Matt Smith is currently the Clinical Engineering Manager at Fairview Health Services, overseeing biomedical engineering teams supporting multiple hospitals and clinics in Minnesota. Previously, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, they served as Team Lead and Senior Biomedical Electronic Specialist, focusing on Operating Room and Anesthesia equipment. Prior to that, at Children's of Alabama, they worked as a Biomedical Equipment Technician II, maintaining medical equipment in various departments. With a background in the US Navy as a Logistics Specialist, they managed inventories and personnel. Matt holds an MBA from Rasmussen University and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
