Brandon R. Chaney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role is as the Proprietor & CEO of Fairwinds Estate Winery, a position they have held since March 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Director & Co-Founder of Outsourcing Services International (OSI) starting in November 2010. In October 2014, they co-founded Dimension4 and served as its Director. In June 2014, they held an honorary position as the Sergeant of Washoe County Sheriff's Office in Nevada. From June 2013 to February 2016, Brandon was a member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee at Tahoe Expedition Academy.
Brandon's entrepreneurial journey began in 1994 as the Founder & CEO of NetFortris, a company that was later sold to Spire Capital in 2014. NetFortris operated a secure cloud network and provided enterprise-class security services. Brandon R. also founded Orange County Internet Xchange (OCIX), a state-of-the-art data center company acquired by TPx Communications in 2011. Brandon founded EngineX Networks in 1999 to help telecom carriers with innovative services and eventually moved its headquarters to Richardson, Texas. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, they founded Networld Communications in 1994, which played a crucial role in building IP infrastructures for dotcoms and other businesses in San Francisco.
Before venturing into the technology and telecommunications industry, Brandon participated in GE Power's Financial Management Program from May 1993 to October 1994.
Brandon R. Chaney's education history begins in 1976 when they started attending Burstfield Elementary School in West Lafayette, IN. Brandon R. continued their education at Happy Hollow Middle School from 1983 to 1985. During their time at Happy Hollow Middle School, Brandon also participated in the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1988.
In 1986, they attended Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC for a year. Following this, they enrolled at WLHS (West Lafayette, IN) and graduated in 1989.
After completing high school, Brandon attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1989 to 1993. Brandon R. earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Finance, Management, and Art History.
During their time at Indiana University, Brandon participated in a study abroad program at Purdue University from 1990 to 1992.
In 1993, they joined the GE Financial Management Program (FMP), where they furthered their education in Finance and Financial Management Services. Brandon R. completed the FMP program in 1994.
Additionally, Brandon spent a year at St. Pardons in Aberystwyth, Wales, from 1978 to 1979, though no degree or field of study was specified for this period.
