Karen Valerie Mendoza

Karen Valerie Mendoza, MBA, FLMI, AIAA, ACS, currently serves as the Director of Product Innovation at Serenia Life Financial, overseeing product strategy, development, client experience, and sales support since October 2022. Previously, at Sun Life from May 2017 to October 2022, Karen held roles including Product Manager for Disability and Integrated Health Solutions and for Life and Critical Illness Portfolio, focusing on product management, stakeholder relationships, and strategic initiatives. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Manulife, Sony Life, New York Life, Pru Life UK, and Philam Life, contributing to product development, marketing strategies, and business development across a range of insurance products. Karen holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Actuarial Science and Statistics from De La Salle University.
