Samir Joshi

Samir Joshi has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Samir currently holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Falabella India since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of eCommerce Engineering at Falabella India from June 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Falabella India, Samir worked at Reliance Retail from December 2016 to June 2019 as the Group Engineering Manager, e-commerce Platform. During their tenure, they successfully launched the first true Omni channel ecommerce solution at Reliance Retail and played a key role in integrating the online platform with store POS and third-party fulfillment partners.

Samir also gained valuable experience at Capgemini, where they held various roles. Samir served as an Associate Director from April 2015 to December 2016, overseeing the establishment of the Retail CoE for the Europe organization and managing delivery for multiple retail and CPG customers. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager, Sr Project Manager, and Project Manager at Capgemini from 2001 to 2015.

Samir's career began at Challenger Systems Inc in 2000, where they worked as a System Analyst.

Samir Joshi obtained a Master of Management Sciences (MMS) degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 1998-1999. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Computer Management (MCM) degree from the same university from 1994 to 1996.
