Matthew Prout

Matthew Prout currently serves as Managing Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager at Falcon Investment Advisors since September 2011, also holding the position of Managing Director and Sector Head at Onex Falcon. Prior experience includes Vice President at Culbro Private Equity from April 2009 to August 2011, where the focus was on investments for the Cullman and Bloomingdale families. Matthew's earlier roles involved serving as Associate Director at Roynat Capital from March 2007 to March 2009, operating in merchant banking and private equity principal investing, and working as an Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group at Banc of America Securities from January 2004 to February 2007. The career began as an Analyst at Lehman Brothers in the Mergers and Acquisitions department, focusing on the oil and gas industry from July 2001 to 2004. Matthew Prout earned an education from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School between 1998 and 2001.
