Prathab Murugesan is the Head of Engineering at FalconX. Prathab was previously a Founding Engineer at eightfold.ai, where they worked on deep learning models to enable HR workflow applications. Prior to that, they were the Tech Lead for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at MyLikes, where they designed, built, and launched an end-to-end deep learning based system for detecting slander, hate-speech, violence, etc. in a safe anonymous social network called Candid. Prathab has also been featured in top media sites for their work on Candid. In addition, they have designed, built, and launched a computational advertising system for gallery-based social ads using Bayesian inference, which increased the RPM (revenue per 1000 impressions) of the MyLikes social ads platform by 15% for mobile traffic and 10% for desktop traffic. Finally, they also designed, built, and launched a data-driven social feed ranking algorithm based on regression models for powering the FriendLife social network, which increased the number of live stream viewers in the platform by 30%. Before joining Google in 2012, Prathab worked as a software engineer at various startups. Prathab holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.

Prathab Murugesan completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science And Engineering with Minor in Operations Research from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Prathab also completed high school studies in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Tuticorin. In addition, they scored 453 / 500 in CBSE class 10th examination from Sakthi Vinayagar Hindu Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School Tuticorin.

They are on a team with Jon Kaplan - Chief Revenue Officer, Sujay J - VP, Security, and Amy Gordona - Head of Marketing. Their manager is Raghu Yarlagadda, Co-Founder & CEO.
