Anna Mayhew has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Anna began their career as a Volunteer at The Hastings Museum and Art Gallery in 2010. Anna then worked as a Researcher and Office Assistant at The ACTA Landscaping Consultancy and as an Office Manager at The Mayhew Consultancy. In 2013, Anna joined Wood & Gray as part of The Melville Bar and Lounge. Anna later worked as a Supervisor at The White Horse Bar, where they gained kitchen and catering experience. Anna then became the Acting Assistant Manager at The Blind Poet, where they were responsible for customer service, business administration, and staff management, as well as event planning. Anna expanded their skill set at Historic Environment Scotland, where they held the roles of Facilities and Office Services Assistant and Trainee Heritage Officer. Anna's responsibilities included reception duties, events management, community engagement, and exhibition preparation. Anna then moved to the National Galleries of Scotland, serving as a Security and Visitor Services Duty Shift Supervisor. Anna'sresponsibilities included ensuring excellent visitor service and managing logistical issues, such as fire safety and fleet management. Anna's most recent role was with Falkirk Community Trust, where they held the positions of Cultural Coordinator and Activity Lead Officer - Learning, Creativity, and Culture.

Anna Mayhew has a Master's degree in Ancient History and Classical Archaeology from The University of Edinburgh, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. In 2017, they completed a course titled "Outreach and Education: An Introduction to the Promotion of Archives" at The Centre for Archive and Information Studies, University of Dundee, where they achieved a 2:1 grade.
