Christy Smith-Hadath

Christy Smith-Hadath is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Indigenous engagement, sustainability, and community affairs within the resource sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Indigenous Engagement and Human Environment at Falkirk Environmental Consultants Ltd. since January 2017 and as the Vice President of Sustainability at TDG Gold Corp. since July 2021, Christy also leads as the Principal CEO of Indigenized Consulting Services, a firm specializing in community engagement and collaboration with various stakeholders across Canada. Previous roles include Executive Director of the Northern Shuswap Tribal Council, Manager of Community and Aboriginal Affairs at Taseko Mines Limited, and Manager of Community Affairs at Thompson Creek Metals Company. Christy holds an MBA from the University of Northern British Columbia and a BA in Native Studies from the University of Alberta.
