Richard P. Burke

Richard Burke has served as the President and CEO of Fallon Health since 2015 and has held numerous other leadership positions during his 24-year tenure. In his current role, he has positioned Fallon—which is both a health plan and provider of care—to be a leader in providing high-quality, coordinated care and coverage to the diverse communities Fallon serves. Under Burke’s leadership, and continuing along a strategic path that is unique among independent health plans in Massachusetts, Fallon has set its sights on becoming the leading provider of government programs in the region.

Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Burke held the position of President of Senior Care Services and Government Programs. His responsibilities included overseeing Fallon’s government product lines serving both aging populations and high-risk populations of all ages, including Fallon’s Medicare Advantage, PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly), and SCO (Senior Care Options) plans.
