Tony Fernandes

Tony Fernandes has extensive work experience in the financial and accounting field. Tony most recently worked at Fallon Health as the Director of Financial Reporting & Tax, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Financial Reporting and Planning Principal Analyst at Fallon Health from January 2019 to September 2021. Before joining Fallon Health, Tony was the Accounting Manager at Steward Health Care from July 2018 to January 2019. Tony also worked as the Assistant Portfolio Controller at AR Global Investments, LLC from November 2017 to June 2018. Prior to that, Tony held the position of Senior Corporate Accountant at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island from March 2016 to November 2017. Tony's earlier experience includes roles as the Accounting Manager at South County Health from July 2013 to March 2016 and as an Accountant at South County Health from April 2011 to July 2013.

Tony Fernandes earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business between 2007 and 2011. Tony then obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from Rhode Island College from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their degrees, Tony Fernandes also received certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Rhode Island in July 2017.
