Joiber Lastra is an experienced security professional with a robust background in various roles within the security industry. Currently serving as a Detention Officer at Akal Security since November 2016 and as an Executive Protection specialist at FAM International Security since May 2015, Joiber also brings previous experience as a Government Security Contractor (Armed) for The Whitestone Group at the FAA Miami Air Traffic Control Tower. Joiber's career includes significant leadership positions such as Security Manager at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where investigative duties were performed regarding theft and property loss, and Security Supervisor roles at both Pm Security and IPC International, overseeing personnel and emergency responses. Joiber holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Florida International University and completed training at Miami Dade College's Police Academy.
