Alicia Ruiz Mahillo

Alicia Ruiz Mahillo currently serves as the Group Quality Manager for CMC - QA Pharmaceutical Microbiology at FAMAR, leading the design and control of the quality system and microbial quality across multiple sites in Spain, Italy, and Greece for various products in both commercial stages and pharmaceutical development. Prior to this role, Alicia held several positions at PharmaMar from 2005 to 2022, including Group Quality Manager for Microbiology & Sterility Assurance, Quality Assurance CMC Senior Coordinator, and Microbiology Manager. Additionally, experiences include work as a QC Microbiology technician at Merck Serono and involvement in biotechnology research at CBMSO-CNB. Alicia holds a Degree in Suficiencia Investigadora in Biotechnology/Genomics/Biochemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Centro Biologia Molecular Severo Ochoa, along with foundational education from Colegio La Salle and Colegio San José in Madrid.
