Dr. Phillipp Kurtz

Dr. Philipp Kurtz has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dr. Phillipp is currently a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Famedly GmbH, responsible for all business matters and focusing on understanding the needs of the healthcare industry. Prior to this, they completed a practical year in Innere Medizin at the Hospital Alemán, Universidad de Buenos Aires, where they gained insights into the medical practices in Argentina. Dr. Phillipp also completed practical years in Allgemeinchirurgie and Traumatologie at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, exposing him to different medical practices in Moscow. In addition, they completed a practical year in Neurologie at Charité, where they learned about innovative diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Dr. Kurtz also has experience as a Famulant in various medical institutions, including Frauenklinik Stuttgart, Schön Klinik, Vivantes – Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH, Nishta Rural Health, Education and Environment Centre, and Dr. Harry Mark. Furthermore, they have conducted research as a Doktorand at the Ernst Strüngmann Institute for Neuroscience, focused on the influence of spatial attention on decision confidence.

Dr. Philipp Kurtz completed their education in a chronological manner. Dr. Phillipp began their academic journey in 2011 at Goethe University Frankfurt, where they pursued a degree in Human Medicine. This phase of their education concluded in 2018 when they successfully obtained a 2nd Staatsexamen.

Continuing their passion for medical studies, Dr. Kurtz joined the Institute of Distance Learning at Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology in 2018. Here, they undertook a Master of Science degree program in Medical Informatics, which they completed in 2021.
