Dave Casey

Dave Casey has extensive experience in organizing and volunteering within community and technology-focused events. As an Organizer for Maker Faire Orlando since 2012 and previously for TEDxOrlando until March 2016, Dave has demonstrated strong leadership and event management skills. In addition, Dave serves as a Volunteer Instructor at FamiLAB since 2011, contributing to education and skill development in the maker community. Dave's technical background includes significant roles as a Release Engineer at Adobe Systems from 2006 to 2015 and as a Build Engineer at Microsoft from 1997 to 2006. Earlier in Dave's career, from 1994 to 1997, involvement as an Instrument Builder at Dusty Strings laid the groundwork for a diverse skill set. Educational qualifications include a degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign earned between 1983 and 1991.
