Families First of Florida
Brenda Raj is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Dove Guidance, LLC since September 2021 and an Outpatient Therapist at Families First of Florida since September 2019, specializing in in-home therapy services. Previous experience includes roles as a Counselor at Suncoast Center, Inc., a Resident in Counseling at Compass Counseling Services of Virginia, and an intern at Marianne Clyde Center. In the technical field, Brenda held positions such as Manager of Technical Services at Enterprise Technology Associates, IV&V Project Manager at Capgemini Government Solutions, and IT Security Manager at Addx Corp. Brenda Raj holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, with additional academic qualifications including a PhD candidacy in Information Technology from George Mason University and degrees in Information Systems and Natural Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of South Florida, respectively.
Families First of Florida
At Families First of Florida, we help children, adults and their families with emotional and mental health needs. With empathy and compassion, we utilize best-practice trauma informed psychiatric and therapeutic interventions to assist clients and their families with the tools and treatment to heal, grow and develop. We provide assessments, case management and clinical therapeutic services both in the home and office. In addition to clinical services, Families First of Florida serves as a therapeutic foster care licensing agency for children ages 5 to 17. Our foster parents play a crucial role as caregivers and mentors in the lives of children and teens who often need intensive services. Our collective goal is for each child to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential.
