Danielle Burger, MSW, is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in therapeutic services across various settings. Currently employed at Families First of Florida since October 2022, Danielle conducts individual and family sessions, develops treatment plans, and provides comprehensive client support. Previous roles include therapist at Central Florida Behavioral Hospital, where Danielle offered individual and group counseling, and activities therapist at CarePoint Health System, focusing on recreational and therapeutic group facilitation. Danielle's career in mental health began as a mental health associate at United Family & Children's Society, where therapeutic and recreational activities were organized. Danielle holds a Master of Social Work from Seton Hall University, obtained in 2016, and a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution, completed in 2010.

Families First of Florida
At Families First of Florida, we help children, adults and their families with emotional and mental health needs. With empathy and compassion, we utilize best-practice trauma informed psychiatric and therapeutic interventions to assist clients and their families with the tools and treatment to heal, grow and develop. We provide assessments, case management and clinical therapeutic services both in the home and office. In addition to clinical services, Families First of Florida serves as a therapeutic foster care licensing agency for children ages 5 to 17. Our foster parents play a crucial role as caregivers and mentors in the lives of children and teens who often need intensive services. Our collective goal is for each child to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential.
