Sophie Batchelor

Sophie Batchelor has a diverse range of work experience. Sophie started their career as a Store Assistant at Hayley Jane's Hair Studio in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a FOH Manager at Imon Spice, where they assisted in food preparation in the kitchen and also served customers.

In 2020, Sophie worked as a Teaching Assistant at Clifton Green Primary School, providing one-to-one support to EAL students and assisting in lesson planning. Sophie also worked as a Support Specialist at Beat, providing one-to-one support online for children recovering from eating disorders. Additionally, they served as a Young Person's Mentor at City of York Council, providing personal and psychological support to a young person with autism.

Sophie Batchelor graduated from York St. John University in 2022 with a degree in Psychology with counselling. Prior to attending university, they attended Nelson Thomlinson Sixth Form from 2017 to 2019, where they completed their A levels. Sophie also attended The Nelson Thomlinson School from 2014 to 2016, where they completed their GCSEs. In terms of additional certifications, Sophie obtained First Aid and Basic Life Support certification from Creative Support in June 2022. In September 2020, they obtained certification in Introduction to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) from the City of York Council. In April 2020, Sophie obtained certification in Child-Centered Play Therapy from the Centre of Excellence. Sophie also completed the NCS program offered by the NCS - National Citizen Service Trust in September 2016. Additionally, Sophie has certifications in Suicide Prevention and Trans Awareness E-learning, though the specific dates of these certifications are not provided.
