John Kinyanjui

John Kinyanjui is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in institutional and government banking. Currently serving as Head of Government & Institutional Banking at Family Bank Ltd since December 2019, John leads a relationship team managing institutional clients across various sectors. Previous roles include Senior Business Development Manager at Spire Bank Ltd and Senior Business Development Manager at ABC Bank Group, where John successfully drove revenue growth through relationship management and strategic business development. With a foundational career starting as a Banking Assistant at Bank of Africa Kenya and advancing through various roles, John possesses comprehensive expertise in treasury sales, product analysis, and effective customer retention strategies. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Egerton University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management at the University of Nairobi.
