Andrew Barnard

Andrew Barnard is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Group Finance Director at Family Building Society since April 2018, Andrew previously held significant positions including Group Financial Planning & Analysis Director at Lloyds Banking Group and multiple finance director roles at Royal Bank of Scotland, overseeing key divisions such as Lombard and RBS Invoice Finance. Prior to this, Andrew garnered experience at sanofi-aventis as Head of Finance for Winthrop, and at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in leadership roles focused on finance business partnership. Andrew's early career included diverse roles at Unilever, where financial control, business partnering, and systems development were key responsibilities. Andrew is a qualified ACMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a BA in Modern History from Royal Holloway, University of London.
