Daisy Velez is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth development and social services. Currently serving as Manager of the ASPIRE Youth Development program at Family & Children's Agency since October 2020, Daisy oversees the high school component, focusing on supporting students with social service and mental health needs to achieve academic success and post-secondary enrollment. Prior to this role, Daisy worked as a Case Manager at Operation Hope of Fairfield, assisting individuals in overcoming barriers to housing, and as a Senior Staff Associate at the Family & Children's Agency, where management of an after-school classroom for middle school students was key. Daisy holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, along with two additional degrees in Human Development and Family Studies and Human Services from Southern Connecticut State University and the University of Connecticut, respectively.
