James Massari has a strong background in facilities management and business affairs. James currently works as the Director of Facilities and Business Affairs at Family and Children's Association since September 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Consultant at Long Island Lightning Basketball starting in October 2014. James also has extensive experience at New York Institute of Technology, where they served as an Operations Supervisor and Athletic Facilities Manager from January 2000 to October 2016. In this role, they managed various capital projects, supervised game operations and special events, trained new hires, and collaborated with various departments to ensure building compliance and implement policies and procedures.
James Massari obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations from the New York Institute of Technology in 2006. James also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management from St. John's University, which they completed in 1997. In 2010, James obtained a certification in Sport Event Risk Management from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
