Nina Douglas is a seasoned professional in the field of human services with extensive experience in counseling and support roles. Currently serving as an in-home counselor at Family & Children's Association since February 2024, Nina previously worked as a CASAC 2 for the Nassau County Department of Human Services from 1998 until retirement in October 2023, where responsibilities included serving clients in various rehabilitation programs. Additional experience includes positions as a CASAC at Maryhaven, Inc., a Direct Care Counselor at AHRC Suffolk, and a Customer Service Representative at GEICO. Nina holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from SUNY Empire State College, complemented by education at OTI Brentwood NY and Molloy University. Recently certified in Narcan, Nina is committed to providing comprehensive support to individuals in need.
