Sarah Finney is a professional with extensive experience in community engagement and organizational culture within educational settings. Currently serving as a Community Schools Implementation Specialist at Family & Children's Service since February 2023, Sarah previously held the role of Talent & Culture Manager at PENCIL for Schools from September 2014 to January 2023. Early career experience includes a position as a Data Entry Clerk in the Admissions Office at Rhodes College from August 2009 to August 2010. Sarah holds a Master of Education in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt Peabody College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religious Studies from Rhodes College.

Family & Children’s Service (F&CS) serves all people in crisis and transition by meeting them where they are, understanding their needs, and connecting them to the resources they need. F&CS often ‘fills in the gaps’ in social services, creating a safety net to ensure that all children and families can be safe and healthy. Each year we provide services to more than 60,000 Tennesseans.
