Amanda Schmader

Amanda Schmader currently serves as a School-Based Therapist at the Family Counseling Center of Armstrong County since August 2021. Previously, Amanda was a Mobile Therapist at CLARION FAMILY THERAPY, INC., where expertise was focused on addressing behavioral issues in children. Amanda's career also includes a role as Island Steward at The Nature Conservancy, responsible for protecting the habitat of David Wolkowsky Key. As a Counseling Intern at Bright Futures Treatment Center, Amanda provided individual and group counseling while developing an Adventure Therapy Program. Amanda's early experience includes roles as a Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Therapist, and Mental Health Technician. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from PennWest Clarion.
