Anne-Marie Rice has a diverse work experience. Anne-Marie is currently working at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia as the Executive Director National Registrar Practice and Operations and Senior Judicial Registrar. Prior to this, they held the position of Lecturer at The University of Queensland. Anne-Marie was also a Member of the National Sports Tribunal. Anne-Marie Rice has a background in dispute resolution and family law, having worked at Rice Dispute Resolution as a Dispute Resolutionist, Accredited Family Law Specialist, and Nationally Accredited Mediator. Anne-Marie is also a Solicitor and Accredited Family Law Specialist at Rice Naughton McCarthy and McCullough Robertson. In 2018, they were recognized as the WLAQ Leneen Forde AC Woman Lawyer of the Year.

Anne-Marie Rice received a BA degree from the University of Queensland in 1995, majoring in English/Cultural Studies. Anne-Marie then pursued their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Hons) degree at the same university and completed it in 1997.
