Nancy Meyer

Director at Family Focus

Nancy Meyer is the current Director at Family Focus, and has previously held positions at Latinos LEAD, Assistance League of Los Angeles, and Syracuse University. Nancy is also the co-author of a book published by Random House Mondadori.

Meyer has dedicated their career to helping others and giving back to their community. Nancy has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years, with a focus on development and operations. In their role at Latinos LEAD, they helped address the lack of diversity and low Latino representation on the governing boards of nonprofits. At Assistance League of Los Angeles, they consulted with the Director on planned giving and updated donor and prospect files.

Meyer is also an adjunct instructor and has co-managed an Industry Seminar for visiting students. In their role as Development Executive at NBC Universal, they were responsible for identifying, developing, and executing major gift strategies.

Most recently, Meyer has been working as the Manager of Grants at the One Thousand Cranes Foundation. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the grant process, from start to finish.

Nancy Meyer attended Elmhurst University, where they received a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Nancy then attended UCLA Extension, where they studied screenwriting.
