Suzanne Resnick

Suzanne Resnick is the Director at Family Focus. Suzanne previously worked as the Director, Health Policy and Public Affairs and Consultant for the American Board of Medical Specialties from January 2012 to December 2018. In this role, Suzanne was responsible for policy research, strategic analysis, and national engagement on strategic issues relevant to patient care quality and medical specialty certification. Suzanne also managed Board Committee development of policy priorities, guiding principles, and position statements, developed and convened webinars and policy summits and conference programs, and led inter-divisional project teams and external workgroups. Suzanne also prepared organizational testimony, public comment, articles and editorials. In addition, they directed a competitive fellowship for early career physicians, increasing the program's financial sustainability, strengthening participant recruitment, engagement and retention, assuring compliance with grants and contracts, and establishing a robust leadership curriculum.

Prior to their work with the American Board of Medical Specialties, Suzanne served as the Principal for SMR Project Management. Before that, they were the Vice President of Health Care Finance for the Illinois State Medical Society from January 1996 to December 1997.

Suzanne Resnick has a Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
