Onika Popo-James has a diverse work experience in the field of Family Medicine. Onika started their career as a Family Medicine intern and resident at Barnert Hospital from November 2005 to February 2008. Onika then worked as a Family Medicine Resident at St Barnabus Hospital from March 2008 to December 2008. Onika joined Springfield Pediatrics as a Family Medicine Physician in April 2009 and later moved on to Eagles Landing Family Practice in July 2009, where they worked as a Family Medicine Physician until April 2011. In 2010, they also worked as a Family Medicine Physician at McIntosh Trail Family Practice from June 2010 to May 2011. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Family Medicine Physician at Bridgewater Family Practice. In March 2015, they joined Denise C. De Veranez MD, PC as a Family Medicine Physician until June 2016. After that, they attended Essex County College from 1996 to 1998, where they focused on Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies. Finally, they graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O) degree from UMDNJ-SOM/Rowan University from 1999 to 2005.
