Milton Smith, M.Ed., LPC-S, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in psychotherapy and counseling. Currently serving as a Senior Psychotherapist at Family Houston since November 2018, Milton also holds the position of Licensed Professional Counselor at The Parris Foundation, Inc. since June 2012. Previous roles include Professional Facilitator/Parent Educator at ESCAPE Family Resource Center and Mental Health Therapist/LPHA at The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD. Milton's career began with academic counseling at Lone Star College, followed by a role as an Admissions Advisor/Counselor at the University of Houston-Downtown. Milton holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Child and Family Development from the same institution.
