Andrea Murgado

Andrea Murgado is an experienced clinician currently working at Family Intervention Services, Inc. since October 2017, specializing in family stabilization programs. Prior to this, Andrea worked as a social worker at Alaris Health from September 2016 to February 2018, and also held a social work intern position there from September 2015 to May 2016. While at Arcadia University from September 2011 to June 2015, Andrea served as a resident assistant, fostering a supportive community for first-year residents. Andrea's internship at Hope Academy Hedwig House involved supporting social workers and engaging with transitional adults facing mental illness and substance abuse issues. Andrea holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University - Newark (2014-2016) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Arcadia University (2011-2014), with additional studies at the University of Stirling in 2012.
