Jose Martinez

Jose Martinez serves as the Founding Principal at Family Life Academy Charter Schools High School since March 2022, previously holding the position of Founding Assistant Principal at the same institution. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Principal and Dean of Students at New Heights Academy Charter School from August 2015 to April 2022, and as Dean at the NYC Department of Education from August 2013 to August 2015. Earlier roles included Advocate Counselor at Good Shepherd Services and Field Supervisor at Alianza Dominicana Inc. Jose Martinez holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, awarded in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from SUNY New Paltz, obtained in 2007.
