Family of Kidz
Erin Gericitano is an experienced educator specializing in special education, currently serving as a Clinical Supervisor and Special Education Teacher at Family of Kidz since February 2023. Previous roles include a Self-Contained Special Education Teacher at Wantagh Union Free School District from September 2022 to February 2023 and a Resource Room Teacher from September 2021 to June 2022, along with experience as a Permanent Substitute and a Stay-at-home Mother from February 2020 to February 2020. Erin has also worked as a Special Education Teacher at Life Skills Preschool, a Tutor at Tutor Doctor, a 4th Grade Teacher and Administrative Assistant at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox School, and a Teaching Assistant at Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the State University of New York Cortland and a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language from Touro University.

At Family of Kidz, we bring together highly qualified teams of professionals that work diligently to help individuals with special needs, from birth through adulthood. Our focus is on establishing a strong understanding of the individual’s needs and teaching them skills that lead to greater independence and an enhanced quality of life. Our multi-disciplinary team provides a wide-variety of therapeutic and educational services that include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), special instruction, and related services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and mental health services. As a team, we are committed to helping those with special needs overcome barriers to progress and develop new skills.
