Karen Flynn, MBA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Karen is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Family of Kidz. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Finance at Beyond Boundaries Autism Specialists & Therapeutic Services.
Karen has also held the position of Corporate Controller at CHE Senior Psychological Services from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they worked as a Corporate Controller at The ARx Group in 2014 and as the Director FP&A at AFTS Labs from 2012 to 2014.
Karen'searlier roles include serving as the Controller and HR at MDeverywhere from 2005 to 2011, and as an Investment Accountant at Och-Ziff and Senior Accountant at BNY Mellon in the 1990s. Karen started their career as a Portfolio Accountant at New York Life Insurance Company in 1991.
Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and reconciliations. Karen has also successfully implemented procedures and metrics to improve financial processes.
Karen Flynn, MBA has a strong educational background in finance and accounting. Karen obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Dowling College, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued further education at Adelphi University, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, with a specialization in Finance, General, completing their studies in 1999.

Our focus is on establishing a strong understanding of the individual’s needs and teaching them skills that lead to greater independence and an enhanced quality of life. Our multi-disciplinary team provides a wide-variety of therapeutic and educational services that include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), special instruction, and related services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and mental health services. As a team, we are committed to helping those with special needs overcome barriers to progress and develop new skills.
