Sarfaraz is an experienced advisor in investments with a background spanning over a decade in various financial sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor at a Family Office since April 2014, responsibilities include deal negotiations and sourcing investments across credit, tech secondaries, real estate, and physical trade. Additionally, Sarfaraz works as a Venture Scout at LvlUp Ventures, focusing on sourcing seed and pre-seed ventures in multiple technology sectors. Participation in the Newton Venture Program as a Fellow Venture Capital contributes to a commitment to improving representation in the venture capital landscape. Previous roles include investment opportunities in commodities and trade finance, advising on property projects within a family office, mentoring at Startupbootcamp, and consulting for Acumen Fund and other initiatives. Sarfaraz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of London and is currently engaged in Executive Education for a Venture Capital Fellowship at London Business School.
