Kath Bennett

International Education Officer at Family Planning Australia

Kath Bennett is an experienced professional in health promotion and education, currently serving as the International Education Officer at Family Planning Australia since January 2023. Prior to this role, Kath held the position of Senior Project Officer for Health Literacy at Western NSW Primary Health Network from September 2020 to January 2023, and previously worked as a Senior Health Promotion Officer at Family Planning NSW for over a decade. With a background that includes teaching and health advocacy, Kath has also served as a Sessional Lecturer and Tutor specializing in Human Sexuality and Health Promotion at the Australian College of Physical Education. Earlier experiences include volunteering as an English Teacher in Uganda and implementing the Asthma Friendly Schools Program at the Asthma Foundation NSW. Kath Bennett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise from the University of Sydney and a Diploma of Education in PDHPE Secondary from Charles Sturt University.
