Eric Venn-Watson is currently an advisor at Family Proud. Prior to that, they were the CEO of XpandOrtho from 2011 to 2013 and the SVP of Clinical Transformation at AirStrip from 2012 to 2016.
At XpandOrtho, Eric was responsible for creating an intra-articular device that uses multiple sensors within the knee joint to guide soft tissue balancing during knee replacement surgery. The company was acquired by Exactech in 2019.
At AirStrip, Eric was responsible for leading multiple cross functional teams in creating, marketing and selling clinically relevant digital health solutions that expedited clinical workflows and improved patient care.
Eric Venn-Watson has an MBA from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management. Eric also has an Orthopedic Surgery Residency from Naval Medical Center San Diego and a Flight Surgeon from Naval Aerospace Medical Institute. Eric is also a General Surgery Internship from Naval Medical Center San Diego and an MD from Uniformed Services University.
