David Salkeld

Director Of Audio Visual Services at Family Research Council

David Salkeld has extensive experience in audio and video production and consulting. David currently serves as the Director of Audio Visual Services at the Family Research Council since June 2021. Prior to that, they owned and operated Veritas Media, providing audio and video post-production and consulting services since November 2000. At Veritas Media, they designed and integrated audio and video studios in various locations across the United States and handled audio production for radio programs, podcasts, and audiobooks.

From January 2008 to May 2021, David worked at Focus on the Family as the Manager of Audio and New Media. In this role, they managed the scheduling of multiple podcasts, engineered, edited, and produced four podcasts, and oversaw the development of new talent and projects.

Before joining Focus on the Family, David worked at the Family Research Council as the Director of Video and Radio Production from August 2006 to January 2008. In this position, they oversaw a weekly radio program and daily audio short feature, including guest selection and scriptwriting. David also upgraded the studio and designed a space for video post-production and provided consultation for a media center installation.

David Salkeld completed their Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on Television Production from Vanguard University of Southern California. David attended the university from 1985 to 1989.
