Robert Maginnis

Robert Maginnis is an experienced defense and security expert currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert Level III - Strategic Planner at Sigmatech, supporting the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Defense Export and Cooperation since November 2020. As a Senior Fellow for National Defense at the Family Research Council since March 2010, Maginnis focuses on the intersection of national security and social issues. Previously, Maginnis held the role of Vice President & Security Cooperation Project Manager at MESMO LLC, managing security cooperation efforts for the US government. A former columnist for Human Events, Maginnis has also worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at BCP International Ltd and served as Vice President for Policy at the Family Research Council. With a distinguished military career, Maginnis retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army, having held various command and staff positions. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
