Deisy Puente-Tapia is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Special Populations Survivor Advocate at Family Resources since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Bank Teller at TBK Bank, SSB from July 2018 to February 2023 and serving as an Administrative Assistant at the Boys & Girls Clubs of The Mississippi Valley for a brief period in 2020. An internship at Mercado on Fifth in early 2018 involved planning and organizing a weekly night market and recruiting vendors. Deisy holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Western Illinois University, obtained in 2020, and an Associate's degree in Art/Art Studies from Black Hawk College, completed in 2017.
