Randi Chalfin

Head Teacher At The Childrens Center At Family Court at Family Services, Inc.

Randi Chalfin has a diverse work experience in various educational institutions. Their most recent position was as the Director of Arts Power Portfolio at Poughkeepsie New York, which they held since 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Head Teacher at the Children's Center at Family Court in Family Services, Inc. starting in 2014. Randi provided a safe and supervised drop-in program for caregivers involved in court matters and offered service referrals to clients.

Before their role at Family Services, Inc., Randi worked at Oakwood Friends School as a Visual Art Teacher and a Rotating Department Chair from 1999 to 2012. Randi also served as Visual Art Faculty for the Upper School from 1998 to 2011. Additionally, they were the Visual Art Director at the same institution from 1998 to 2012.

Randi's extensive experience in the education field also includes their role as the Art Department Chair at Winston Prep School from 1977 to 1987.

Randi Chalfin has a diverse education history. In 1987-1988, they attended Teachers college at Columbia University in the City of New York, where they earned a Masters degree in Visual arts education. Randi also studied Studio Art with a focus on Painting at the State University of New York at Fredonia, but the start and end years for this program are unknown. Randi further pursued their passion for art by studying Textile Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, though no degree is specified. Additionally, Randi attended Adelphi College and completed a post-graduate program in Expressive Arts, expected to graduate in August 2017. Lastly, they also pursued a Post Graduate Degree in Expressive Arts Therapy with a focus on Art Therapy/Therapist at Adelphi University. However, the start and end years for both of these programs remain unknown.
