Darlysha Ortega

Darlysha Ortega is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Diversion Coordinator at Family Services of the Merrimack Valley, where responsibilities include coordinating the Essex County Diversion Program and developing individualized diversion plans for youth offenders. Previous experience includes roles as a Case Manager, providing comprehensive support to youth clients and teenagers, as well as a School Bus Monitor focusing on the safety of mentally disabled children. Darlysha has also worked as an intern at various organizations, including the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office and the Massachusetts State Police, where law enforcement techniques were learned. In addition to non-profit work, Darlysha is the Chief Executive Officer of Dar's Crocheted Fashions, successfully managing an online business since March 2020. Darlysha holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Northern Essex Community College.
