Jennie Tice

Training & Outreach Specialist at Family Sunshine Center

Jennie Tice is a seasoned professional in victim advocacy and human trafficking outreach, currently serving as the Human Trafficking Outreach Coordinator for the Family Sunshine Center since April 2019. In this role, Tice coordinates survivor services for the Alabama Anti-Human Trafficking Alliance, which focuses on enhancing collaboration between law enforcement, service providers, and community partners to combat human trafficking in Alabama. Previously, Tice held various positions at the Dekalb County District Attorney's Office and Fulton County District Attorney's Office, where responsibilities included serving as a Victim/Witness Advocate for felony crime victims. Additional experience includes roles at the Partnership Against Domestic Violence and the Domestic Violence Intervention Center, where Tice worked extensively with domestic violence and stalking victims. Tice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Auburn University, obtained in 2003.

Family Sunshine Center

The Family Sunshine Center is dedicated to ending family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking through comprehensive services and community-based outreach and prevention education. We foster hope and healing through immediate response, safe haven in crisis, advocacy, counseling, and support, so that victims may be empowered to lead safe, violence-free lives. We provide no-cost services for victims of domestic violence, family violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Service sites are located in Autauga, Butler, Chilton, Crenshaw, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery counties.
