Victim’s Advocate at Family Tree

Meghan Newton is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in victim advocacy and treatment counseling. Currently serving as a Victim’s Advocate at Family Tree since February 2020 and as a Treatment Counselor at Shiloh House since April 2017, Meghan has demonstrated a commitment to supporting individuals in need. Previous roles include Co-Facilitator at Flying Horse Foundation, Intern at Butler Institute for Families, and Caregiver at Extended Family, highlighting a diverse background in social services. Early career experiences include contributions as a Contributing Editor for Alaska Magazine, a Summer Intern with intu, and volunteer work at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. Meghan holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.
