Lhd Jeff Heatherington (Hon)

Jeff Heatherington, LHD (Hon), has had an extensive career in various roles and organizations. Jeff started in 1965 as a Program Director for the Tri-Cities YMCA in Pasco, WA. A few years later, they worked as the Director of Admissions at Marylhurst College. From 1970 to 1974, they served as the Business Administrator at Westminster Presbyterian Church. In 1975, they joined the Oregon Republican Party as the Finance Director. Following that, they worked for Goodwill Industries of Oregon as the Director of Development and Public Relations in 1977. From 1978 to 2007, they held the position of Executive Director at the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon, Inc. In 1984, they became President and CEO of FamilyCare Health, the oldest Medicaid managed care company in Oregon. In 1985, they founded The Heatherington Foundation for Education and Innovation in Health Care, where they served as President. Since then, they have held multiple roles, including President of FamilyCare Health and President of The Heatherington Foundation for Innovation and Education in Health Care.

Jeff Heatherington, LHD (Hon), obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Willamette University, where they studied from 1961 to 1965.
