Heidi Sommer

Heidi Sommer has extensive experience in web development, currently serving as an Engineering Lead at FamilySearch since January 2014. Previously, Heidi worked as a Web Developer and Web Developer Intern at FamilySearch, where responsibilities included various engineering tasks. Before joining FamilySearch, Heidi worked at OpenBook by Yellowstone Hotel Systems from April to December 2013, focusing on maintaining hospitality websites and developing new tools using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Additionally, Heidi served as a Teacher Assistant for Web Design and Beginning Programming classes at BYU-Idaho from September 2012 to April 2013, providing support to students and assisting the professor. Heidi holds a degree in Web Design and Development with an emphasis on Development from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
