Derek Butts

Derek Butts is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate strategy, product management, and business development. Currently, Butts serves as co-Founder and co-CEO of Embrace.ai and is a board member at FamTech.org. Previously, Butts held prominent roles at Blue Yonder as EVP Strategy & Operations and Chief Strategy Officer, where responsibilities included overseeing the highest growth business unit and multiple corporate functions. Notably, Butts spent over 13 years at Workday, contributing to significant revenue growth initiatives and leading various strategic teams, including Corporate Development and Product Management. Earlier career milestones include senior positions at Intuit and Bain & Company. Derek Butts holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Computer Science and Psychology from Amherst College.
