Mike Rosenthal has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Mike co-founded Fanaply in 2018 and served as the Chief Product Officer. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Marketing Consultant at TwoThreeSix Strategic Marketing from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they briefly served as an Adjunct Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.

From 2015 to 2017, Mike Rosenthal worked at Mick Management as the Head of Strategic Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for marketing strategy and brand partnerships for a roster of musical acts. In 2003, Mike Rosenthal co-founded The Tank, a non-profit performance space, where they served as the Technical Director and Curator of Experimental Music and Mixed Media. Mike later became the Managing Director of The Tank from 2006 to 2009. Mike was also the Organizer and Artistic Director of the Bent Festival of Music and Art from 2003 to 2009.

Mike Rosenthal has a diverse educational background. Mike began their studies at Oberlin College in 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian History. Concurrently, they also pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in Technology in Music and Related Arts. Rosenthal's time at Oberlin College lasted until 2001. Mike then went on to New York University from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Master of Professional Studies degree in the Interactive Telecommunications Program.
