Thiago Medeiros has held various positions in the tech industry since 2000. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as a Software Development Manager at Fbiz, where they managed a major IT project involving SMS, WAP, Voicemail, and WEB, performed IT work for the 3 greatest projects of the Brazilian Internet at that time, and traveled throughout Brazil to deploy an important training program for Pfizer Inc. In 2007, they co-founded OyO.com.br, where they served as CTO. From 2009 to 2014, they were Co-Founder, COO, and CIO of Blinks, which was acquired by WPP in 2014. During this time, they conducted hiring and training of more than 100 people, defined the company’s methodology and best practices in marketing optimization, designed and implemented a "performance room" for SKY, integrated their marketing efforts, developed a Business Intelligence department with more than 15 people, built a software platform to elevate the company’s operation, and integrated client's CRM & partner APIs. In 2013, they co-founded Fanatee, a game development company with more than 150 million downloads across Android and iOS. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Business Intelligence & SEM Instructor at IAB Brasil, teaching professionals about Business Intelligence, SEM, and SEO. Since 2018, they have been a Digital Marketing Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as the Chief Data Officer & Chief Marketing Officer of Berkeley Extension, Berkeley Summer Sessions, Berkeley Study Abroad, and Berkeley Global. Thiago is also part of the NAV-B Market Research Team, a unit within the Provost office responsible for revenue generation programs for UC Berkeley.
Thiago Medeiros completed their High School Diploma in Computer Science at Centro Universitário Eniac in 1999. Thiago then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from The University Center of FEI between 2003 and 2009. In 2014, they obtained their Master of Business Administration - Executive MBA from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in Business. Finally, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for a one-year full-time Innovation & Marketing program from 2018 to 2019.
