Ernesto Escobar's work experience includes various roles in different companies and industries. Ernesto currently serves as the Executive Director of the Master of Engineering in Game Design, Development, and Innovation program at Duke University Pratt School of Engineering. In this role, they manage the program's faculty, staff, operations, and budget, while also actively marketing the program to prospective students.

Ernesto is also the Founder and CEO of FanaticusXR, a business that initially focused on Micro Theme Parks using mixed-reality technology but pivoted due to the pandemic. Additionally, they work as a Strategic Advisor for Endora Technologies, Inc., KITT Labs, and Ottalaus Health, providing guidance and expertise in their respective fields.

Prior to their current roles, Ernesto served as an Advisor for Startup Projects, assisting early-stage startups with business strategy. Ernesto also worked as a Parttime Instructor at Georgia State University, teaching a class on entrepreneurship and innovation, and as an International Programs Manager for Innovation Ecosystems at Georgia Institute of Technology. In this role, they collaborated with private and public institutions to develop programs that promote innovation and economic development.

Ernesto's experience also includes positions at VentureLab at Georgia Tech, where they supported the commercialization of technology startups, and 4P Therapeutics, where they worked as an Intellectual Property and Business Development Consultant, conducting research on transdermal drug delivery systems.

Ernesto Escobar received their JD degree from Emory University School of Law from 2011 to 2014, focusing on law. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Behavioral Science with a focus on Psychology at Utah Valley University from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Ernesto obtained various certifications from Lynda.com, including "Connecting with Executives," "Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials," "Strategic Negotiation," "Mindfulness," "Developing Executive Presence," "Managing International Projects," "Six Sigma Foundations," and "Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management" in 2018.
